3 PM -- Gold Medal Park, Minneapolis.
Horde with zombies. Moan with zombies.
Drink with zombies. Dine on human flesh ... with zombies.
Every bar has drink specials, groan to get the special.
The initial zombie march, from Gold Medal Park to Grumpy's,
is open to all ages. ID Required to drink.
Undeaden at home, or show up for a quick undeadening.
Expected attendance? 500 Zombies.
Four score and 329 days ago we brought forth in Northeast, a pub crawl, conceived in the beginning of undeath, and dedicated to the proposition that all zombies should limp from one bar to another, drinking.
The past pub crawls engaged in great acts of partying, testing whether zombie pub crawls, or any pub crawls so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We were met on a great battlefield of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as the not so final resting place for those who gave their lives, that those pub crawls might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.
But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- Northeast any longer. The brave men, undead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far about the power of those previous bars to hold the zombie horde. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did in Northeast. It is for us the undead, rather, to be dedicated to a new route to the unfinished work which they who drank here have thus so notably advanced.
It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us -- that from these undead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion -- drinking as much as we can -- that we here highly resolve that these undead shall not have come back in vain -- that this nation, under the Bride of the Zombie Pub Crawl, shall give new birth to a pub crawl -- and that pub crawl of zombies, by zombies, for zombies, shall not perish from the earth.
