Steve Aoki is a DJ and also the founder of Dim Mak Records, which has counted leading indie rock bands such as Gossip, Bloc Party, the Kills, and the Rakes among its stable of signees. The son of wealthy restauranteur Rocky Aoki, he is of Japanese heritage and calls Los Angeles home. In 2007 he released his first official mix CD, Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles, on Thrive Records. Featuring tracks by Justice, Klaxons, Mystery Jets, Peaches, Datarock, Yelle, Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, and Scanners -- most of them remixed -- Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles is fairly representative of Aoki's renown as a tastemaking dance-party DJ rather than a skillful turntablist.
In 2009 his remix work brought rapper Drake's single "Forever" to the dancefloor, while 2010 saw him release the "I'm in the House" single with Zuper Blahq, alter ego of Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am. Further high-profile artists' material was also reworked by Aoki during this period, with tracks by Michael Jackson, the Killers, and Lenny Kravitz all benefiting; while collaborations with like-minded producers such as Armand van Helden and the Bloody Beetroots continued to appear on Dim Mak. By the end of 2011, the early fruits of sessions for his debut album, Wonderland, had materialized as the singles "Earthquakey People" -- a collaboration with Weezer singer Rivers Cuomo -- and "Tornado," on which Aoki combined forces with the multi-award-winning Tiësto.
In 2012 he released his first EP, It's the End of the World as We Know It. More collaborations followed in 2013, with Aoki reworking a Linkin Park track for the group's remix album Recharged. The resulting "A Light That Never Comes" was released as a single alongside several more remixes. In 2014 he announced details of a forthcoming album titled Neon Future. Marketed as a two-part record, the first installment was scheduled for release later in the year.
Together with production partner DJ Paul, Juicy J played an important role in the South's rise to prominence within the once East- and West Coast-dominated rap industry. Behind the duo's leadership, Three 6 Mafia rose from an underground phenomenon in Memphis to a nationally recognized rap empire, spinning off numerous solo albums for the collective's many members in the mid- to late '90s. Like his production partner, Juicy J specialized in dark, eerie tracks driven by bass-heavy beats and haunting sounds. He also raps as a member of Three 6 Mafia and contributes rhymes to most of the albums he produces for such artists as his brother Project Pat, Gangsta Boo, La Chat, and Tear da Club Up Thugs. Moreover, Juicy J ventured into filmmaking with Choices (2001), a straight-to-video film starring most of the Three 6 Mafia collective.
Juicy J (born Jordan Houston) and DJ Paul (Paul Beauregard) first came together at the dawn of the '90s, when they worked as DJs in the Memphis area. The two soon began producing their own tracks and invited numerous Memphis rappers to rap over the beats. They released the resulting tracks locally as Triple 6 Mafia; years later these recordings would resurface as re-releases. In 1995, the loose collective changed its name to Three 6 Mafia and self-released its debut album, Mystic Stylez. The album became an underground success, and Three 6 Mafia, in turn, signed a distribution deal with Relativity for its Hypnotized Minds imprint. Throughout the late '90s, Juicy J and DJ Paul produced numerous albums a year for Hypnotized Minds and capitalized on the lucrative distribution deal. By the end of the decade, the two producers were at the helm of an empire, having extended their brand to alarming lengths, culminating with their commercial breakthrough album, When the Smoke Clears (2000), which debuted at number six on Billboard's album chart.
He launched his solo career during a break in Three 6 Mafia's usually busy recording schedule, releasing the hardcore effort Chronicles of the Juice Man: Underground Album in 2002. Gucci Mane, Gorilla Zoe, and Webbie all appeared on the 2009 follow-up, Hustle Till I Die. Two years later, Juicy signed with Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang and released "Bandz a Make Her Dance" on the label in 2012. The single landed on his third solo album, the 2013 release Stay Trippy.
Christopher Mercer, aka Rusko, was born to a musical family in Leeds in 1985. From day one, Rusko was surrounded by music. Whether it be his family’s pianos, guitars, banjos, or saxophones, or in his later years, the heavy reggae and dub sound systems of Leeds, music has always been an integral part of Rusko’s life.
After graduating from Leeds University with a degree in Musical Performance, Rusko discovered the world of dubstep through “Sub Dub” and a debut appearance from Digital Mystikz. After having spent the past 10 years making future dub alongside Leeds’ very own Iration Steppas, Rusko connected with the sound and moved down to London to further advance his musical opportunities.
Veering away from the dark, serious side of the sound, Rusko brought a highly driven energy and a fun approach to the dubstep massive, quickly coining his own take on the genre. His sound appealed to many people outside of the dubstep world as his productions became more adventurous in formula, sound, and energy. His huge hit “Cockney Thug” has been played by everyone from Pete Tong and Switch to Diplo and Santogold. “Cockney Thug” has also been remixed by Buraka Som Sistema, Diplo, Drop the Lime, and the Scratch Perverts. Now part of the Mad Decent Camp with collaborations on the horizon with the likes of Switch, Diplo, Santogold, Trouble Andrew, Hot Chip, amongst others, Rusko’s future sure is looking bright. Currently setting the radio airwaves alight with his own productions and remixes of artists such as The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx, Little Boots, Rusko is only going one way: onwards, upwards, and far beyond any other young producer could dream of.
For nearly a decade, there’s been a commotion brewing out of the Powderhorn neighborhood of Minneapolis. Like the days of the touring circus act, an arena was erected, housing a sight to behold, and it has been steadily gaining in volume and spectators ever since. One peek behind the curtain and you’ll realize the display has amassed a ravenous following. This particular arena is not a big-top tent, though. It’s Hip-Hop. The dedicated audience members, dubbed Gampos, are glued to the spectacle. And at the center of it all stands the ringleader, Prof.
As creator and curator, Prof recognizes the value of the audience’s entertainment, and he’s never been afraid to invite new ideas to his stage. While his natural virtuosity is already captivating, these curiosities propel his live performances into their own league of attractions. A must-see show for all ages, old and young. However, though mastery and amusement may be the keystones of his exhibition, his successes have hardly been dependent solely on the performance.
As a songwriter, Prof is a tightrope walker. He balances on a fine line of duality between the parallels of inconceivable experiences and extraordinary fantasies. One song may be the memory of his arson father burning down his childhood home, while the next is about an evening involving 3 beautiful ladies, 2 bottles of whiskey and a llama. Factual or fictitious, there’s no end to the number of unique narratives, or deliveries, from this storyteller. Perhaps the hardships of his earlier life were the catalyst for the vividly imaginative artist he is today.
Prof has amassed an impressive catalog to date, with his self-made imprint, Stophouse Music Group. With three full-length albums, as well as three full-length mixtapes of exclusive material, he has already proven his dedication to creating. Prof has also shared stages and toured with an impressive array of rap artists, including Atmosphere, Yelawolf, Tech N9ne, Brother Ali, Evidence, P.O.S, Run The Jewels (El-P & Killer Mike), Murs, Fashawn, Andre Nickatina and more. He has also been featured on a number of large festival stages, including Soundset, Rock The Bells and Paid Dues. Yet, impressive as those artists and festivals are, Prof has always held his own ground, and he always succeeds in leaving with scores of new fans.
Now, together with Rhymesayers Entertainment, Prof stands ready to assemble a legion of Gampos, worldwide.

Kobayashi's style of competing, his statements, and his sculpted physique introduced to North America that competitive eating could truly be considered a sport. Competitive eating came to be reported in the sports category and broadcast on sports channels just two years after KobayashI's debut in the states. More competitions were held, and competitive eating spread all over the world. Kobayashi is now regarded as one of the leaders in this 21st century sport. He has been chosen to be in commercials with top athletes such as NIKE (chosen as one of the top 24 world athletes such as Michael Jordan), starred in commercials such as 2006 This Is Sports Center - alone as a representative of sports – proving to be considered an athlete in his abilities. Demand for him on American television shows and commercials, special guest appearances at the opening ceremony of baseball games and such, show without doubt that Kobayashi is one of the best know and most active Japanese in the world of sports.

The number two is powerful. Not only does it signify Nina Sky’s tag teaming force , it also signifies the culmination of their independent EP release, “Nicole & Natalie.”
Since their global recognition in 2004 with the reggae-infused pop jam, “Move Ya Body,” Nicole and Natalie Albino have spent eight years challenging their voices and learning more about themselves in life and in business. “ Just because we weren’t in the spotlight doesn’t mean we weren’t making moves,” Natalie explains. “These last 8 years were spent traveling, doing shows all over the world, writing and working with other artists. We’ve really had time to mature into women and master our craft.
The “Nina Sky” album hit the industry with a brand of R&B that was unprecedented, coming from two Puerto Rican twin sisters from Queens, NY. That same year, rapper N.O.R.E. called on Nina Sky for vocal assistance on “Oye Mi Canto,” featuring Daddy Yankee, which became the first reggaeton record to hit mainstream radio and showcased the ladies bilingual talents.
While 8 years have elapsed, The twin’s unmistakeable harmonies quickly made them in demand collaborators in the worlds of Hip-Hop, R&B, Dance, and Reggae. Artists ranging from The Alchemist to Diplo, Sean Paul, and even Aventura have sought out the talented Queens-bred sisters to take their music to another level. As Nicole and Natalie ready for a fresh beginning, their musical abilities have never once failed to resonate with audiences. “We aren’t only singers; we write all of our music,” Natalie reveals. “Nicole plays guitar and deejays. We are very musical and try to show this while on stage. Our vibe isn’t like your typical group! Because Nicole deejays, she’s able to command the crowd and every once and a while, we’ll bring the guitar out on stage to show our versatility.” As a teen, Nicole mastered the turntables but relied on her guitar playing skills to support the lyrics she and Natalie wrote. Fast forward years later and the duo’s songwriting capabilities are displayed in catchy party starting records to poignant ballads.
Their wide range of collaborations speaks to their versatility and growth, but never was this more apparent than on their newest album Nicole & Natalie. The project is the sum of their musical influences combined with the maturation of the duo as individuals. Die hard fans have always been aware of this evolution, from their electrifying stage show to Nicole’s emergence as a DJ playing in the most elite clubs around the world. Even casual onlookers can see their progression as their ever-changing sense of style has developed Nina Sky into fashion icons both on the New York City scene and in the pages of fashion magazines.
Nina Sky welcomes tastemakers and fans to rejoice in their return. An elaborate work of art, “Nicole & Natalie” showcases the growth and versatility that is Nina Sky as singers, deejay, entertainers, creating a unique mix of energy and party vibe every time they get on stage.

Born & raised in Philadelphia, Swizzymack AKA Jordan Safford cooks up a spicy gumbo of Baltimore club and trap so loud, dirty, and dripping with twerk sweat that it’s guaranteed to make even your great-aunt Gertrude drop her crochet and start dancing. His debut EP Bass was released on Mad Decent’s Jeffree’s imprint in June 2013 and has since made a solid place for itself in the music world destroying dancefloors and car stereos across the globe with its visceral combination of steroid-injected kicks, hyperactive tempos, and pulverizing bass drops. His new repertoire marks just the beginning of a very promising career for this young producer, and we can’t wait to see how he continues to redefine frontiers in booty-bouncing, trunk-thumping club music.

Last year, the Zombie Pub Crawl debuted the World Brain-Eating Championships, culminating in famed eater Joey “Jaws” Chestnut taking down 54 veal brain tacos, served by Andrew Zimmern’s AZ Canteen, in just 8 minutes.
This year, we’re going to test that record by inviting the world’s greatest competitive eater, Kobayashi, to attempt to break it!
Will Joey’s record stand? Will Kobayashi reveal himself to truly be the world’s greatest competitive eater, even in the face of a seemingly insurmountable mountain of grilled brains? Or will a dark horse emerge and take the glory?
A lineup of competitive eating’s biggest names will square off to see who’s best at doing what zombies do best: eating brains.
We’re reserving a few spots at the table for local and regional eaters who want to test their skill against the world’s greatest stomaches. Want to join the contest? Register here.
Presented by the Minnesota Lottery and Andrew Zimmern's AZ Canteen.
In 2012, the Zombie Pub Crawl achieved undead immortality by successfully claiming the Guinness World Record for “The World’s Largest Gathering of Zombies.” Do get the record, we assembled a horde of more than 8,000 zombies at Midway Stadium in St. Paul.
Why was the record so small, when more than 25,000 zombies showed up for the crawl that year? According to Guinness rules, only zombies that are gathered in one secured location are eligible for the record. So, since the Zombie Pub Crawl is an event comprised of many venues, only the zombies at the largest venue counted.
The result: In 2013, a zombie walk in New Jersey took our record, when they counted more than 9,000 zombies at their event. Booo-rains.
This year: Because we’ve moved the Zombie Pub Crawl to the Warehouse District in Downtown Minneapolis, we are now able to turn almost the entire event into one secure location. That means that, for the first time ever, we will attempt to count every single zombie that shows up to the Zombie Pub Crawl toward the Guinness Record. A Guinness official will be on hand to verify the record immediately, and once and for all declare Minneapolis the Zombie Capital of the World!
That puny New Jersey record is about to get destroyed…
When you arrive at the Zombie Pub Crawl, you will already have a ZPC wristband on. At the entrance gate, you will be given a second wristband, with a number on it. This is how we will count everyone who comes in, and prove to Guinness exactly how many zombies showed up.
Then, at 8:20 PM, we will officially break the record. The Guinness rules state that the zombie horde must be gathered in one spot for at least 10 minutes. So we’ll put 10 minutes on the clock, get an official count from each of the three entrance gates, and finally, officially, bring the record back home. Then Steve Aoki will play, which is gonna be bananas.
Get ready to be a part of history!
